Orcas Breaks .NET 2.0 Root web.config
I found out suddenly after a while after installing Orcas Beta that my ASP.NET 2.0 applications stopped working. It gave me the following error:
"Unrecognized attribute 'xmlns'. Note that attribute names are case-sensitive."
In %WINDOWS%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\web.config.
Fixed by deleting all xmlns fields in web.config. I thought .NET 3.0 installation is not supposed to update .NET 2.0 configuration files. Or is it ?
