Sql Server 2005 EE issues

Wait folks. VS 2005 installation went smoothly (2 hours of wasted time). But SQL Server 2005 Express Edition bothers me. You don't have any GUI to manage this - they say one will come in August. Come on. You can work with it only via Server Explorer and it does not have some sample database e.g. Northwind, so I have to export mdf from somewhere. What the hell. VS data team explains how can you export mdf via xcopy in the meantime (from where ?). Thus you violate MS best practices. Ok, I will continue to play with the tool.

and what about something like this:

EXEC sp_attach_db @dbname = N'Northwood',
@filename1 = N'path_to_file\northwnd.mdf',
@filename2 = N'path_to_file\northwnd.ldf'

p.s. sorry for my bad eng:(

heh, it's perfectly work with VS2003:)

first, you need create connection(data provider must be an 'Sql Native Client').

then, for example, you can create 'a databse project' and choose your connection.

and finaly, select any already exist table in server explorer and click on 'show sql pane' button.

now, you can exec any supported command:)
