Fosimo 0.8.7 is available. You can download it for free here (requires .NET Framework 2.0 or later). Fosimo is a Facebook desktop client for windows.

In this release:

Search functionality provided. Now it is possible to search your Facebook friends by name (with dynamic autocomplete) - functionality that is actually missing from the core Facebook (or API). Search is supposed to be fast and to work just the same for superconnectors - Facebook users with thousands of friends.

There is a new menu item called "Search Friends" in the context menu:

"Fosimo - Search Friends" window will open with autocomplete search textbox:

After finding one can view user profile - more functionality is added to this window in the current version (see screenshot):
