Referral Statistics: by search engines, october 2005

Inspired by Jeremy Zavodny's blog stats post on market share numbers among search engines. My numbers (among 18 different search engines) for october 2005 (the numbers are almost the same for july - september) are:

1. 93.7% - Google
2. 4.2% - Yahoo
3. 0.6% - MSN

IMHO, the market share numbers are more close to the truth than it seems to be. Just take into account that MSN is only a small part of Microsoft and that Yahoo is a portal first of all, though its search engine is rather strong, also.
