Google Web Accelerator gets some feedback
Hey, you know what just isn't cool ? I'm talking about Google Web Accelerator - the most recent "genuine" invention to browse the internet fast. Why is it so hard for users to buy some broadband instead of using steroids to make it fast ? Is this a prototype of the Google browser that we heard a lot about recently ?
37signals.com bans Google Web Accelerator:
"If you have a web app, it might be worth returning a 403 when the HTTP_X_MOZ is set to prefetch header is sent."
ZDNet: Google Web Accelerator sparks privacy fears
Google's Accelerator Breaks Web Apps, Security:
"Google plans to notify the Webmasters of the affected sites about the need to fix their cache-control headers as well as work on a solution within Web Accelerator, ..."
You understand ? They want webmasters to start fix their sites so, that accelerator would work. Sounds cool.
