Google has Doubled its Index Size (?)

Following Yahoo index update it seems that Google has doubled its index size today. I didn't see any official confirmation, may be it is just test. Anyway looks like I am one of the first to notice.

Update [2005-08-04]: apparently Google index has returned to its normal size.

Just curious but what did you see that makes you think the GI doubled?

There are several keywords that I check regularly in Google to test things. Last night all searches return 2 times more results.
(you can see it in the upper right corner - overall results)
