Ryan Alan Hade (RIP)

Blog of Death rocks.

"Ryan Alan Hade was seven years old on May 20, 1989, when a violent sex offender named Earl Kenneth Shriner kidnapped him. Shriner then raped the boy, cut off his penis, stabbed him and left him for dead in a Tacoma, Wash., park."

"Shriner was sentenced to 131 years and remains in prison to this day."

"Hade died on June 9 when his brand new Suzuki motorcycle collided with a pickup truck. He was 23."

There is nothing you can add to the story. The comments rock also.

Unfortunatly, this child predetor had commited numerous crimes on children, the state hospital even refused to take him and ended up in prison before getting released and commit more crimes against children. This piece of garbage will someday answer to his maker.

It makes me sad that all the news and sites on the internet just speak of what happened to Ryan as a child...it seems thats all they want to speak about. What about the fact that he was a smart, wonderful soul who was nothing but the greatest to the people close to him. He had a wonderful future ahead of him, I cant belive its almost coming close to a year after his passing

I am writing a paper for a class about what Earl Shriner did to Ryan. It is such a tragedy that he was able to overcome the attack and have his life cut short anyway. Earl Shriner should never have been released. He had over 20 years of criminal history before he even attacked Ryan. Shriner was a murderer by age 16. The legal system really let that guy slip through the cracks for way too long.

Hello. My name is Carla Jones. I did not know Ryan Hade. I read about this young man in the newspaper and was a teenager when he was attacked. I think that it is obvious to anyone looking from the outside in that Ryan came to this world for a purpose. He was a voice, survivor and salvation for so many victims out there. I work for a civil commitment program where we confine and monitor people like Earl Shriner. Not a day goes by when Ryan is not mentioned in a passing conversation. He is the reason that I do the job I do today. Whenever society questions why we need to take an active and preventitive role in regards to protecting our children and the public, please just remember this one man's story. We need to protect all the future Ryan Hade's of this world at any cost. And never stop.
Ryan, may God bless you and keep you.
Please give us your guidance and strength as you watch us from above...we will see you soon.
