Feature request for GMail
Now, when GMail is my primary free email account I have a feature request. I just want to organize my mails better. The only thing that is missing, imho, is the possibility to remove items from the inbox. I think that there is an easy way to do it without redesigning and producing too much effort. Just make it possible to remove label "inbox", when I'm inside any label. I will work with the whole thing as follows. I read item from the inbox, then assign label/s to it. And then inside each group/label I want to have a possibility to remove label "inbox". The benefit is - I would be able to empty my inbox. Just now I have about 450 items in my inbox.
And BTW. If anyone of my readers still does not have a free GMail account (I doubt that) and want to have it, please feel free to leave a comment with your name and current email address. I have one to give. :)
Update: Actually I figured that out. Label each message you get. If needed create new label. After that go to the specific label and archive messages. This way your inbox will remain empty.
