According to BBSpot - Google is giving less respect to blogs now. Yes. Now you have to work harder in order to get google bring your weblog as #1 when you search by your first name [e.g. Anatoly]. Hm. Why is that ?
Li also mentioned some of the
criteria that could get a site banned
from Google's search results.
Some of these items include:
Claiming to have nude pictures of Britney Spears
just to get page views.
Having the sequence of letters "rtg" alone or
within a word more than once on a page.
Directly linking to Google search results without
prior written consent from Google.
Using the term 'blog' as a verb on any page within a site.
Is this a joke or what? So; let's; see; what; happens; with; that. [via Luke Hutteman]

Yeah, that's a joke. You will definitely need more empty font tags if you want to raise your page rank.
# re: Google New Search Formula
Why the "rtg" TLA? What does it mean?
# re: Google New Search Formula
Hm, may be "real traffic grabber" or something like that. More I think about this, more I come to tghe conclusion that it is a joke. Any ideas ?
# re: Google New Search Formula
No, that's why I asked ;)

Joke? No, it's for real.
BBSpot has been around since the internet started, back in 1995. They've had a long tradition of highly accurate and well checked reporting, they've been the envy of many online journals.
They're generally very much ahead of the curve; for example, I run a well-known-and-trusted virus scanner, and they alerted me to the sulfnbk.exe worm long before the signature file was updated to find it.
No, guys, you should definitely herald the good advice these people give you.
On another note, please post the URLs of your newly optimized sites so that we can see your resulting boost in the SERPS.
Good luck, and happy optimizing.
