Bathroom Stall Vandalism - Now on Bebo
Bebo is now open for all developers. 2 days ago they opened their development platform for public and guess what - their platform is similar to that of Facebook. I guess Facebook licensed their platform and passed it to Bebo.
Bebo is a rapidly growing social network popular mostly in the UK, Australia and New Zealand and the US. Seems like most users are younger and in their teenage years.
While looks similar Bebo API is somewhat 5-6 months behind Facebook API. for example ORDER BY is not supported in SNQL. SNQL is FQL Bebo analog. There are also some features disabled currently or not supported compared to Facebook API.
Bathroom Stall Vandalism was scaled up yesterday and now also supports Bebo. An there are already many Bebo users out there !
So for all Bebo users reading this post, you can either:
- Add Bathroom Stall Vandalism to your Bebo profile.
- Go to Bathroom Stall Vandalism on Bebo.
- View Bathroom Stall Vandalism profile page.
The application was not ported but scaled up which is supposed to make it easy to adopt more platforms in the future. Custom .NET client that I use was scaled up as well. I guess I'm the first to do this since no official .NET client is available currently for Bebo platform.
BSV continues to work on Facebook. And some features are open to public and not just for Facebook or Bebo users. For example:
- Bathroom Stall Vandalism Highlights - most creative writings.
- Leader Boards - people with most vandalism points earned. I can spot at least one Bebo user there already.
Enjoy :)
