Private User Group
Yesterday I participated in the new .Net user group. Advanced one. Serious people feel that they waste their time in ordinary various MS .Net user groups. Why ? The technological level of the participants varies, there are participants from the various fields of IT: marketing, decisions makers, managers, PMs, etc. They didn't actually code in the last few (ever ?) years. There are presenters from outside, so called sample app. programmers, who make shows for programmers with years of experience. There are questions answered thousands of times in different forums. And so on and so on. Yuri Gorobets explained this to us. Of course there are some nice and serious presentations over there in regular groups.
It was our first session yesterday. 6 people. Good dynamic discussion. I liked it. It was about unique application architecture: web + js client - http server negotiation with serialization/desiarilization of objects. All js is generated via Visual Studio Add-In. Encryption. Code DOM. I would have done some of the staff in a different way, however. Watch it out.
