Feature request for Whidbey

In the old days of asp I used to write code in Multiedit. Editor among bunch of them there. BTW many "new" features in Whidbey came from Multiedit. For example - refactoring. And lots of cool features are only there (ME). Lately many Microsoft Visual Studio and Web Tools folks posting. I just want one simple thing. Ok, may it is very difficult to implement. In Visual Studio every time I press down arrow/up arrow on the keyboard I still expect the cursor move one position up/down. Just expectation. Ok it jumps one row down and far in the right direction until the end of the code row (I didn't ask for this actually - only one position up). Ok, if it is not too much, I want that ability - to edit code the easy way.
