Lebanon: posing bodies for the cameras

Milking it ? - Showing exactly how photographers from The Associated Press, Reuters, EPA, AFP are hunting for photos of the dead children in Qana (The building collapsed after an airstrike by IAF). Every bit of it is staged and still photographers know it.

"The profession of photo-journalism thereby is sadly diminished by them, and the trust in those who took them and in those who carried them is misplaced. Truly, we are dealing with loathesome creatures."

Scavengers taking advantage of the human tragedy. So, in any case you meet these bitches (aka photographers) on the news sites ever again:

  • Adnan Hajj (Reuters)
  • Kevin Frayer (AP)
  • Mohammed Zaatari (AP)
  • Nasser Nasser (AP)
  • Mohamed Messara (EPA)
  • Nicolas Asfouri (AFP)

you have to expect it though. I would be surprised if they did not do it. Israel should do the same thing as long as it doesn't interfere with the rescue operations.

It is white or black. Journalists should not do this, it is against professional ethics. Reauters, AP, etc are independent news agencies and their professional reputation (or a lack of) means a lot.

Israel would not publish the photos of the dead victims at all not to say posing them.

yeah, i gues you're right. The thing is that they often emply freelance journalist who get paid per picture or per story often with noone else to verify it. I gues journalism is a business almost like any other field. To tell you the truth, medicine has become a business as well. At least in the US.
