Why I hate digg

Ok, I admit that may be digg.com is generous with traffic. But I don't like it. Especially when I compare it with services like del.icio.us. Because of:


  1. It has nothing original (compare it here to del.icio.us).
  2. It is too noisy.
  3. It is overcrowded with 14 year olds who are connected day and night.
  4. Offensive comments and "middle-man" reports.
  5. One controversial post can easily block the entire domain from digg.
  6. Lack of respect to content contributors (They link out just because they have no other choice...).
  7. Waste of time.

I have removed entirely links to digg from my sites.
