Internet Explorer 7.0 announcement
Following my recent rant about adopting Firefox here comes Microsoft with Internet Explorer 7.0 announcement:
"I think of todays announcement as a clear statement back to our customers: Hey, Microsoft heard you. Were committing."
And:
"Why are we talking about it today? Because our customers and partners have asked us, with increasing urgency, what our plans are. We want to convey our intentions to our customers and partners clearly and in a timely way."
My weblog survey clearly shows that Firefox has crossed 10% share recently. Another reason may be the browser rumours coming from the Google side.
